hatao is well-known as one of the finest players and teachers
of
the Irish flute and Tin Whisle in Japan.
He has been playing traditional Irish music for over 10 years
and
performed professionally throughout Japan.
He has produced more than 5 CDs and also joined recordings of
the major artists as a guest player.
He is an authur of the turorial book of Tin Whistle
which became the first turorial book published in Japan.
He has traveled and stayed for a long period throughout
the Celtic regions of Ireland, Scotland, Northern England,
Wales, Brittany and studied with many great performers such
as Chris Norman (Canada),Eamonn Cotter, Harry Bladley,
Paul McGrattan (Ireland),Jean-Michel Veillon(Brittany).
hatao has fascinated audiences with his powerful
and expressive performance
characterized by the combination of the music from various Celtic
regions and his own composisions.
He is now studying Baroque music and working on finding a new
style
and expanding repertoire of 18-19th century Celtic music.
He can also energetically perform with different
kinds of music and
art, such as Baroque, Jazz, Taiko and Shamisen, the belly dance,
and the tap dance.
His aim is to impart the joy of the music by performing,
teaching, and offering his products.

Lesson is available privately and at music schools in
Osaka / Kyoto area.
I am committing to being a good teacher and helping
you
learn what you want to play.
Students with no experience are also welcomed.
Even if you don't read music, please don't hesitate to try!
You can learn music by ear without any special training.
If you are a begginer, I will teach from A to
Z of the music,
so you can start from holding the instrument, breathing and playing
the simple tunes.
In the intermediate and advanced class, I will teach traditional
tunes, ornamentations and articulations.

But those students who can not take the regular classes,
can take the occasional lessons.

Unfortunately if you forgot to give me a ring,I am unable to make
up
additional missed lessons.
However, when I am sick or have an emergency I will make up any
lessons
that I have missed.
